The other day I was searching for spots where I could listen to live music while enjoying a cocktail and it was really hard to find a place, especially one that was not heavy metal or solely instrumental in the Scottsdale area! Hotel Indigo Scottsdale brings you the band PHEED every Thursday evening in the Divine Lounge. The music is wonderful, the setting brings a sense of serenity, and the lounge area set up is simply amazing. The band plays acoustical interpretations of your favorite songs.

*Just a thought… sometimes I think that the past should really be called the forgotten or the “lets never think about it again.” As I cleaned up my room I found old pictures of me and people I never even think about or talk to anymore, but yet friends I could never live without at that time and place. ~Everyone was in high spirits at the spring training game with the weather today. The feel of spring is in the air. I love the downtown area so much! There is almost too much to do and see in the area. I had guests in town and I could not show them enough today, but time is always limited. We visited the Scottsdale Stadium for a spring training game, had lunch at the Pf Changs near Fashion Square Mall, enjoyed dessert at Olive and Ivy for their scrumptious strawberry-rhubarb donuts, and shopped around the area. I then showed off the Hotel Indigo and the various clubs practically adjacent to the perfectly located hotel.

....Great for visitors, residents, and guests...Looking for a sweet treat? Sugar Bowl is one of the best ice cream places in Old Town, if not in all of Scottsdale. Enjoy a sundae, flavored float, yummy ice cream cone, or even a quick lunch. The restaurant has been open since 1958 and the very same people who own it and run it, are the same people who originally opened the Sugar Bowl!
